Make your design on the underside and it will be protected from condensation.
You can add ArtResin or Deco Art Triple Thick to the underside of the glass tile to protect your embellishment.
Why not add little feet at the same time?
Make your own feet from polymer clay or purchase the stick on dots from your hardware store.
This will protect the table (or other surface) and also make it easier to pick up the coasters when not in use.

The sample tile below was created using alcohol inks on the underside.
While the ink was still wet, a piece of plastic wrap was applied unevenly and then removed once dried.
